You can use this information to help you make any gauntlet design or other pieces of armor. The metal in this video is brass. .032 for the fingers, and .05 for the rest. You can probably get by using .032 for all of it…I just used what I had. Most of you will want to use stainless steel, but if you do use brass, you will need to protect it because it will tarnish. If you clear lacquer on it, (like musical instruments, etc have) it will chip and flake off because the metal pieces touch and scratch. You ain’t gonna’ find a better Multicam LBE option for around these days. At least in this most excellent Multicam variation, the Condor Modular Operator Plate Carrier or MOPC represents excellent value and quality for the money. At just 2 lbs 10 oz, it’s a lightweight and contoured carrier that provides impressive comfort in wear. Credit the padding and mesh lining as well, a rarity at this price level. Quality and design throughout is generally excellent: good buckles that don’t squeak (not yet at least), uniform and strong reinforced stitching, outstanding colorations (sewn Multicam MOLLE webbing provides superior camouflage vs brown nylon webbing), easy adjustment and doffing, high quality hook and loop closures, interior map pocket, hoop Velcro provided for morale patching/nametapes, perfectly sized plate pockets (that hold both soft and hard armor securely), extra MOLLE on the side, a drag loop, clean shoulder design (with buckles in back), and side pockets that expand to accommodate different size plates. Colors as of 2010 included: Multicam (shown), black, OD, Coyote Tan, and ACU. The Multicam version is licensed and features the mandated improved materials: poly coated 500 denier Cordura nylon (as opposed to lesser quality vinyl-coated nylon). The MOPC rides securely with medium loads under high exertion and is a stable rig. No interferences were noted in both pressured handgun and rifle drills. By now, many people have seen and experienced Performance Automotive Group’s Project Jeep JK. This 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler has gone through numerous changes and upgrades, all to develop and test an abundance of Trail Master Suspension, Performance Accessories and OR-Fab products in extreme off-road situations. In its current condition, the Project JK has a variety of components that make it unstoppable on the trail, yet very comfortable and easy to handle. One of the most notable upgrades to the Jeep, is the Trail Master prototype Long-Arm Suspension. This suspension kit is not yet released, but it provides superior axle control with smooth articulation and operation under the most extreme conditions. It’s been designed to give the JK traction with a quiet ride, while lifting the vehicle about five inches. The prototype Long-Arm Suspension also uses Trail Master’s Flex-Joints, that provide smoother operation and longer life over standard Heim-joints or urethane bushings. The suspension is still undergoing further testing before it will be released but while its in the JK, it was paired up with a set of Fox reservoir shocks that also help keep the ride smooth when the JK is crawling over large obstacles or making a road-trip on the highway.
