Ave. Level: 22 Story: Arrived at Bur-omisace Healing was messed up on this one so that added an extra minute or so and I had to use some items. I do work it out as you see in the last two minutes things go much smoother. That also made me forget to keep it slowed which can help keep up with healing. Anyway Trick, warp the mantis. To survive until the minions are out I use decoy + reverse. After that it’s tank and spank. As usual I decoy a person with a shield, heavy body armor(best physical defense) and a light armor hat(+HP, hats just increase magic defense which only reduces spell damage). Also since he’s weak to wind I have that decoy equiped with a gladius and Haste + Bravery + Berserk him while the other two with mystic armor concentrate on healing.

i beat antlion at level 37.. no bubble, no black magic.. only white magic.. using ONLY physical attack.. set my gambit as usual.. then ambush them.. left the game on.. i go make same coffee.. when i came back.. its DONE!

i know this is a bit late, but you have to go to montblanc. Go around rabanastre until you find a place called “Clan Centurio”. In there, ther will be a moogle named Montblanc. He gives you elite hunts like antlion and gilgamesh

For those who are still wondering where to get this Hunt at, you must go see Montblanc at Clan Centuro Hall. After you have progressed a bit in your hunts he will give you Clan Hunts.

there are heaps of hunts which havnt come up on my board including trickster. i have well over 1200000 clan points aswell. ive killed the pyrelnister thing and the elder wyrm in the snow part fo the game which you can only fight when there is a snow storm

dont i have to accept the hunt somehow on the notice board… ill look up where montblan is but there is only one hunt left on my board and it is diabbolos and i cant kill it until i kill antlion and gilg which neither i can fight because they havnt popped up yet

I cant find this hunt
all my characters are lvl 80 + ive killed 34 hunts including fafnir and i still havnt been able to find this hunt… any idea’s anybody so i can pimp slap this hunt get the key then finally beat the shit out of gilgamesh

I inflicted him with Disease.
If you don’t know what Disease does it causes your maximum health to equal your current health. This means something with disease will always look like they are at 100% till they die.

where do you get Faith and reverse from. I must have passed those spots a long while ago. LOL I am at level 45 and don’t have it or skipped them.

i fought him with vaan (only vaan) using tornesol (took me 30 hours to get but was worth it) and i was lvl 80 i uh…was a bit too high lvled gilgamesh is a fun FIGHT litterally if you got a good strategy you can beat him lvl 60 i fought him lvl 60 first was too strong then killed with a full party of 80s but all in all was a good fun fight

It’s been a long time but isn’t there a save crystal in the room right before where you fight gilgamesh the second time? And next time that happens I recommend running in circles in a safe area to regen MP so you can rez everyone and get in fighting shape >_>

I defeated him but Ashe was the only one that survived and she had low health, no mp and no phoenix downs. Stupid Seekers killed me.

dude, thanks to this video, i beat antlion in under 10min. i used lvl 42 vaan, lvl 41 basch, and lvl 41 penelo on my very first try. amazing.
